Commercial Grade Reflective Vinyl and Film H3200 are typically designed for cost-efficient clients who want good outdoor weathering performance for short-term signs or traffic safety applications (but still at cheap prices). Most other China commercial grade reflective film suppliers use a simplified manufacturing process with cheaper materials to reduce costs. Rest assured, we do not sacrifice quality like this. In comparison, we have much better production technology and only use high-quality materials. Much Higher Retro-reflection (the Highest of Same Grade in China)
When compared with other commercial grade reflective sign vinyl suppliers, one of the specialties for H3200 is it has a higher retro-reflection (two times or several times higher reflectivity). See below picture, for example. Our reflectivity in white color is as high as 50+ cd/lux (at 0.2 / -4 degree) while others are mostly from as low as 5 cd/lux to below 20 cd/lux only.
Strong Better Adhesive & Thicker Topcoat
The protective top layer acrylic is thicker than others in China. For example, our topcoat thickness is 0.12mm (without backing paper) while most others are only 0.08 – 0.10mm. Also the raw materials we use are of the highest level in the industry. For example, we use high-quality solvent-based self-adhesive pressure-sensitive glue for Max. outdoor life (many others use water-based). Therefore, thicker and better reflective materials, as well as superior manufacturing technology, lay a solid foundation in H3200’s better quality which means longer outdoor durability. Being too thin will make the reflective film not durable (last shorter), causing quality issues soon and much harder to apply onto a substrate (e.g. aluminum plate) in applications.
Superior Desirable Flexibility, More Print Options & Easier in Applications
Good Flexibility (as compared with others being fragile or brittle) plays an important role in sign applications. Ours are carefully tailored and adjusted to a level that works great to apply to various substrates in applications. Furthermore, H3200 is well printable with screen, digital eco-solvent or HP latex printers (needs testing print before bulk job due to various brands of inks and printers).
The Retro-reflection Tests
The tests of white and yellow advertisement grade reflective film as below show higher reflectivity than other counterparts:
Our H3200 white reflective sheeting retro-reflection is as high as 50+ cd/lux (the picture shows 58 cd/lux) compared to others being from less than 10 cd/lux to below 20 cd/lux for most cases. And some of other suppliers are only 1-5 cd/lux (which is very poor performance).
And the same story as our H3200 yellow reflective sheeting reflectivity is 30+ cd/lux. And can be custom made with as high as 40+ cd/lux compared to others being less than 10 cd/lux mostly. And it is even not rare that many others are between 1-5 cd/lux only (which is not as reflective as it should be).
H3100 for Price-Sensitive Clients
Great for Short-Term Road Signs or Cheap Reflective Tape
H3100 works great for short-term road signs and also many of our clients use it as cost-efficient cheap reflective tape. It is non-printable and non-tearable, looks a bit glossy, and is good for cutting plotters. In fact, being non-tearable is actually easier for applying the reflective sign vinyl film by hand. And handy if you want to peel it off right after application (in case you applied it in the wrong way and want to redo it, namely, repositionable).
