Most other China commercial grade reflective sheeting and tape suppliers use a simplified manufacturing process with cheaper materials to reduce costs. Rest assured, we do not sacrifice quality like this. In comparison, we have much better production technology and only use high-quality materials. And our H3100 outperformed those from other reflective sign sheeting factories in China (but still at competitive rates).
Much Higher Retro-reflection (the Highest of Same Grade in China)
In contrast, H3100 has a brighter reflectivity as we tested and compared it with most other competitors in China. Please see below our H3100 reflective sheets retro-reflection tests in white and yellow colors by the famous testing machine Roadvista from the US. e.g. the reflectivity of white commercial grade reflective film from other brands only ranges from a small 4-5 cd/lux to below 20 cd/lux at most. However, ours are as high as 50+ cd/lux. See below test pictures.
Strong Better Adhesive & Thicker Topcoat
We use high-quality solvent-based aggressive backing glue to ensure longer outdoor durability while most others use cheaper water-based types. And importantly, our H3100 has about 15-25% thicker and higher quality topcoat than most others, ensuring its outdoor performance being more steady and lasting longer.
The Retro-reflection Tests
The tests of our white and yellow advertisement grade reflective film as below show higher reflectivity than other counterparts:
Our white reflective sheeting reflectivity is as high as 50 cd/lux (the picture shows 47.5 cd/lux conservatively) compared to most other suppliers’ being from less than 10 cd/lux to below 20 cd/lux at most.
And the same story as our yellow reflective sheeting reflectivity is as high as 40 cd/lux compared to others being from less than 10 cd/lux to 15 cd/lux at most.
H3100 for Price-Sensitive Clients
Great for Short-Term Road Signs or Cheap Reflective Tape
It works great for short-term road signs and also many of our clients use it as cost-efficient cheap reflective tape. It is non-printable (except we can print it internally in production) and non-tearable, scratch-resistant, looks a bit glossy and good for cutting plotters. In fact, being non-tearable is actually easier for applying the reflective sign vinyl film by hand. And handy if you want to peel it off right after application (in case you applied it in the wrong way and want to redo it, namely, repositionable).
H3200 as Alternative to 3M 610 or Oralite 5200
Great for Screen & Digital Printing Signs (Eco-solvent | HP Latex Printers)
If you need screen, digital, eco-solvent inkjet printing (such as HP latex printers) or need it to be flexible and longer durability (such as road signs, reflective collars/sleeves for plastic traffic cones, bollards or posts), you can check out Commercial Grade Reflective Vinyl H3200.
